Hi, I’m Alanna.
Travel has always been part of who I am. I am the kind of person who books a trip to Mexico 14 hours before the plane leaves, and travelling with my son has taught me that travel styles need to be flexible to accommodate family members with unique needs. These experiences taught me how much travel can shape who we are and how we see the world.
When I became a mom, I wanted my son to have those same opportunities. But traveling with an autistic child came with challenges I didn’t expect. Travel didn’t suddenly get harder because of a diagnosis, it was always hard, the diagnosis just gave us language for what we’d already been living.
As I looked around, I realized many families in my community weren’t traveling at all. The stress, the logistics, and the lack of inclusive options made it feel impossible. That didn’t sit right with me. Every family deserves to go.
That’s why I built NeuroNav Travel, to make travel accessible, inclusive, and possible for families and individuals who often get left out. Whether you’re navigating autism, ADHD, chronic illness, mobility needs, anxiety, or just want a smoother trip, I’m here to help.
Along the way, I’ve trained and partnered with organizations like Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Marriott, and more. I’ve also earned certifications in accessibility and destination specialties so I can match families with the right experiences.
But at the heart of it, I’m just a mom who understands. I know what it’s like to want adventure without the overwhelm. And I know how much freedom and joy travel can bring when it’s planned with your needs in mind.
Welcome to NeuroNav — I can’t wait to help you find your next adventure.
